Hello Everone!
I have inserted mathematical symbols e.g. quare root,pie
etc etc. But when I come to query them they are represent by '?'
mark.
Anyone know please do tell me.

Can you see these characters via SQL*Plus?

Research 'NLS_LANG'.

No, B'cuz i had loaded them all through odbc connection between oracle and msaccess databases.

If they are appearing as '?' in SQL*Plus then try different settings of 'nls_lang'. You may need to be using 'utl8' or something like that.

u mean 'utf8' instead 'utl8' ???
